Important Disclosures
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Please read these disclosures carefully before using BagBot. They describe what BagBot is — and just as importantly, what it is not.
BagBot is not an investment adviser or broker-dealer
BagBot is a software tool. It is not registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, or commodity trading advisor with the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, or any other regulator. BagBot does not provide personalized investment advice, does not consider your individual financial situation, and does not make recommendations tailored to you. Nothing on this platform is a solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security or contract.
Signals are informational
The trade signals, posts, and commentary published by groups and creators on BagBot are the opinions of their independent authors. They are provided for informational purposes only. BagBot does not verify, endorse, or vet any signal, and a signal's appearance on the platform is not a representation that it is suitable, accurate, or likely to be profitable. Signals are not investment advice.
You direct every trade
BagBot executes trades on your connected brokerage or exchange account only at your direction, in one of two ways you control:
- Per-trade approval (the default). When a group you subscribe to posts a signal, BagBot alerts you and prepares a trade ticket. Nothing is bought until you review and approve it.
- Automatic execution (opt-in).You may explicitly configure a standing instruction that authorizes BagBot to execute a specific group's signals on your account without per-trade approval, within the budget and risk limits you set. This mode requires a separate risk acknowledgment, and you can pause or revoke it at any time.
In both modes, the decision to trade — and responsibility for its outcome — is yours.
Options trading risk
Options are complex instruments and involve substantial risk. Options can expire worthless, and you can lose the entire premium paid — quickly. Short-dated options in particular can lose most of their value in hours. Before trading options, read the Options Clearing Corporation's Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options. Options trading approval is granted by your brokerage, not by BagBot.
No performance guarantees
Win rates, profit-and-loss figures, leaderboards, and track records shown on BagBot are historical. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Displayed figures may be delayed, coarsened, or based on a subset of activity, and a group's future signals may perform very differently from its history.
Fees
Some groups charge subscription fees set by their creators. Where enabled, BagBot may also charge a success fee — a stated percentage of realized profit on trades executed through BagBot for a given group; no success fee applies to losing trades. All fees reduce your returns. Current pricing is always shown before you subscribe.
Third-party services
Trade execution occurs at third parties — including Alpaca Securities for brokerage accounts and Polymarket for event contracts — through credentials or wallets you connect. BagBot never takes custody of your funds, securities, or contracts. Your relationship with each venue is governed by its own agreements, and its fees, availability, and rules apply. Simulated (test) accounts hold no real money and place no real orders.
Automated-system risk
BagBot is an automated system. Outages, connectivity failures, delayed or misparsed signals, market volatility, and slippage can cause your results to differ from a group's posted trade — or cause an intended trade not to execute at all. Markets can move between a signal, your approval, and the fill.
